Duelco strives to ensure that your personal data is protected when you use our services. We have therefore developed a policy on how your personal data is processed and protected. You can follow any changes here on our website.
This personal data protection policy applies only to Duelco’s customers and users of our online services. If you apply for a job with Duelco, this policy does not apply.
Who is responsible for the protection of your personal data?
Duelco is responsible for the protection of the personal data you provide us with and is responsible for the protection of your personal data under the Danish Data Protection Act.
Where is your personal data stored?
The personal data we collect from you is stored in the European Economic Area (EEA), but it may also be transferred to and processed in a country outside the EEA. Any such transfer of your personal data is in compliance with the applicable law.
What types of personal data do we collect?
We collect the personal data you provide us with, for example when you place an order or contact our customer service department. The personal data you provide us with may be your contact details, date of birth and payment information. In addition, we may collect some personal data from external sources, such as credit information and address updates.
What do we use your personal data for?

- Contacting you if there are problems with the delivery of your goods
- Answering your enquiries and notifying you about new services/products or changes to them

- Analytics to provide you with relevant marketing material and information
- Sending surveys to you, allowing you to influence our offerings and services
- Prevention of abuse or improper use of our services
- We store your personal data for as long as we need it to perform the above services or for as long as the law requires. Your personal data is then erased.
What are your rights?
You have the right to be informed of the personal data we have recorded on you at any time (this is free of charge once a year). If your data is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you can ask for it to be rectified or erased. We cannot erase your personal data when there are statutory storage requirements, such as accounting rules, or when there are other legitimate reasons for storing the data, for example unpaid debts. You may withdraw your permission for us to use your data for marketing purposes at any time. You can contact us by sending an email to email@example.com.
Who has access to your personal data?
Your personal data may be shared with others in the Duelco Group. We never disseminate or sell your personal data to third parties or exchange it with third parties for marketing purposes outside the Duelco Group. Data disclosed to third parties, for example freight forwarders in connection with the delivery of the goods, media agencies in connection with the distribution of newsletters and credit information, or debt collectors in connection with credit rating, identity verification and debt collection, is used only to perform the above services.
How do we protect your data?
We have taken a number of technical and organisational measures to protect your data against risks such as loss, manipulation and unauthorised access. We continuously adapt our security measures to technical advances and technical developments.
There are two types of cookie: permanent and temporary (session cookies). Permanent cookies are stored as a file on your computer or mobile device for a period of up to 12 months. Session cookies are stored temporarily and disappear when you close your browser.
